Zeke is right! I only own one album by Fu Manchu mostly because I didn't like them that much but a couple of years ago I saw them live & they are a great band in that medium.

Time to open your mind and expand your horizons Venom.  Fu Manchu is a great live show and should be seen by all.... especially the naysayers.  Of course, it's a matter of taste... just like some like Jorn and others do not.  Give them a chance.  See you there my friend.  Bottom line... a great show is a great show.

Another incredible set by the masters.  Seriously, Overkill and Fu Manchu have got to be 2 of the best live bands going.

This was time #5 for me seeing them going back to 1997, and they seriously have just been getting better and better.

Another thing I dig is how the band changes sets nightly and takes requests from the audience-- always awesome.

Set list (for no one) lol

Open Your Eyes
California Crossing
Boogie Van
Cyclone Launch
Bionic Astronautics
Free and Easy (Summer Girls) they said they hadn't played it since 1993
Let Me Out
Ojo Rojo
Space Sucker
Hell on Wheels
The Falcon Has Landed
Evil Eye
Signs of Infinite Power
Weird Beard
Nothing Done
King of the Road

Encore:
Godzilla
Pigeon Toe

Pat and Ben;

Bring some Fu Manchu with you guys to ProgPower.  You guys have opened me up to Orphaned Land, Presto Ballet, and the almighty Mustasch.

Since Fu Manchu is almost what I've been exclusively listening to this week, I've compiled two (2) sixty-minute discs spanning the bulk of their Venom-crushing, 10-studio-album-having nineteen year career.

In a word?  Godly.

For a second I read Presto Ballet as Spandau Ballet and threw up a little in my mouth. I know this much is true  Barf

I have a Presto Ballet album & would have to think that at least if you listened to Spandau Ballet you might get laid.
