US Thrash bands that were better:
Demolition Hammer
Exhorder
Hallows Eve
Hirax
Metal Church
Nasty Savage
Vio-lence
Whiplash

I beg to differ on these.  Metal Church is thrash?  scratch
They often get lumped into that category, I think mostly because of the time they hit the scene,,,,,but I don't think they are actually a thrash band,,,,,,just a fantastic traditional heavy metal band.

It looks like Mosh and I are the only ones who agree that this band was severely underrated.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN THEIR DVD THAT THEY JUST RELEASED THIS MONTH????????? (According to bnrmetal.com)

Supposedly,,,,,anybody who had emailed the band several years ago, was supposed to get an email regarding purchase details.  I used to get updates about the DVD, but I haven't gotten the email that tells me it's ready for purchase,,,,,at least not yet,,,,,

WAIT!!!  IT'S AVAILABLE,,,,,SEE MY NEW THREAD!

Metal Church was thrash yes...we each have our own opinions and that is fine, but I stand behind mine.  Even if you took those 8 bands off the list M_K, that would still only make Wargasm the 16th best US thrash band.  Tier 3 in the US, indeed.

GREAT record, but honestly Wargasm would be a tier 4, tier 3 thrash band at best...

 eek2

You've lost your mind, V,,,,,Wargasm was an amazing band,,,,,the only reason they weren't considered a top tier thrash band is because they came around a bit late in the game,,,,,
I will stand by my statement.  You ask people to list the top 20 thrash bands and Wargasm will hardly get mentioned if at all.  That my friend is why they are a tier 4 maybe a tier 3 thrash band...
They're most definitely in my Top 20,,,,,possibly even Top 10,,,,,
Worldwide???? Over all THrash top 10 Bands?

Quit yer bickering and crank some Detente...

Thanks to M_K I have an appreciation for this album. :m:   Revenge rules.  In fact I'll put it on right now, otherwise it'll be stuck in my head all night.

I do prefer Ugly to this and Suicide Notes but all three are excellent.  If popularity and how well known a band is determines the tier, these guys were way down the list.  Many thrash bands have never heard them r heard of them but like Powermad, it's doesn't make them any worse.  Probably a top 10 U.S. thrash band for me.

Couple questions about the Wargasm discs-- have they been reissued, and if so, do any of them have that "Satan Stole My Lunch Money" demo on them?
