This is a thrash band from New Mexico who has been around since 1992. I have not ever heard of them until this week when I ran across their latest album, entitled Lex Metalis, which is a covers album.
Here is the tracklisting for Lex Metalis:
1.     Ton Of Bricks (Metal Church cover)
2.    Locked In Chains (The Moshketeers cover)
3.    Sin After Sin (Twisted Sister cover)
4.    Creeping Death (Metallica cover)
5.    Denim And Leather (Saxon cover)
6.    Gut Wrench (Mortification cover)
7.    Motopsycho (Megadeth cover)
8.    Metal Health (Quiet Riot cover)
9.    Steeler (Judas Priest cover)
10.    Iron Fist (Motorhead cover)
11.    Can't Get Out (Vengeance Rising cover)
12.    Wrathchild (Iron Maiden cover)
13.    Powersurge (Overkill cover)

and now the cover:

While a covers album, this band freaking rocks....Anyone a fan of Ultimatum????

I was in contact with these dudes a few years back. They sent me a nifty folder (black with the Ultimatum logo on it) that had their 2005 demo as well as a CD-R that Scott (vocalist) made me that was a compilation of their back catalog up to that point. Nice dudes to be sure! The demo sounded solid and the songs from the old stuff were pretty rad, especially the tunes from Puppet of Destruction and Symphonic Extremities, their first two albums. Haven't really followed them since but I still listen to that stuff they sent me and their first two records and like it a lot. They're a Christian band, which can tend to bug me with some metal but with thrash it never has and it was something I was curious about at the time. I already liked stuff like Believer, Seventh Angel, Tourniquet and Vengeance Rising (which I think Scott was a part of too) so I figured I'd check these dudes out. Good stuff!

Love the band,,,,,didn't know they had a new album,,,,,must find it immediately!!!!

I have everything they've released on CD, except for this latest one, obviously.

Scott Waters, their lead singer, is a really nice guy.

Their last album, "Into The Pit", was my #7 album of 2007,,,,,

Scott is indeed a wicked cool guy, and his site rocks.  It's been up forever, and he still continues to update it on a regular basis.   The man is very dedicated to metal.

Ultimatum is a quality band.  What I've heard of that covers album is pretty cool, and it's been on my "to buy" list for awhile now, along with the "Into the Pit" CD.   I need to plan a road trip to make it down to one of their shows.  Maybe that Thrashageddon show next May.

It'll be at the Compound in Albuquerque on May 1.  So far they have Havok, Ultimatum, Dread, Armored Assassin, Torture Victim, Armory, Strangulation listed.  I don't see a flyer on the Compound site yet, but I did find this on Myspace.

http://music.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=music.showDetails&friendid=51886215&Band_Show_ID=38569739

Havok is a killer Colorado thrash band.   Between them and Ultimatum alone, I think the show will be worth the trek.

I'm reasonably certain he does,,,,,he turned me on to this band several years ago,,,,,I love them,,,,,I would rank their earlier albums:

1. Into The Pit
2. Symphonic Extremities
3. Puppet Of Destruction
4. The Mechanics Of Perilous Times

I also have the "Til The End" EP/demo thingie they did,,,,,
