I'd be fine never hearing Tom Sawyer.

That was the first RUSH album that I bought on the day it was released.

Not a weak track to be found on this masterpiece; my faves being Limelight and Vital Signs.
And of course, YYZ is one of the best instrumentals to ever be recorded aside from ANVIL's March Of The Crabs  devilbang

What a classic  from my all-time favourite band! Moving Pictures is amazing. I remember getting the album for Christmas in 1982. 'Tom Sawyer' was my fave song at that time, but now?

Perfection.  I never tire of hearing any of these songs.  I could eat up Neil's drumming on Tom Sawyer and it keeps that song eternally interesting.  Witch Hunt is a great hidden gem in the band's catalog.  I love it.  It's pretty cool to hear how far the band stretched themselves here and how successful it was.  Vital Signs was such a perfect track and right on spot with the trends of the time.  I always find this album and Yes' Drama to have a similar feel.  Transitional albums being both progressive and contemporary at the same time.

It still sounds incredible, and Peart didn't need Protools to kick everybody's ass!  Cool

Venom-- did you consider going to the Rush show last week in Atlanta seeing as it was the Time Machine tour where Moving Pictures was played in its entirety (along with a slew of others)?

If I maneuvered that way, I'd have seen two shows in the last 10 years...
