Did anyone have the chance to see either/both of these recent reunion tours? If so what did you think? Which did you find better?

I caught both of them but have to say I was a little disappointed with At The Gates. The show was good, but I guess my expectations were too high. I tried my best to not do the same thing for Carcass and enjoyed it more, but still not as much as I thought I would.

Another bonus for the Carcass show was the supporting acts were more interesting, and it was great to finally see Rotten Sound!

Carcass is playing here tonight, and unfortunately, I couldn't make it.  Would have loved to.

I did go to see At The Gates, and it was a blast.  The sound wasn't quite what I was hoping for, but it was really something to be standing there, listening to a band I never thought I'd see live.

Got to see At The Gates twice, once at Graspop in Belgium, and once at House Of Blues in Chicago.  Both shows were great, and Tomas gave props to the Chicago metal bands (Trouble, Devastation, Sindrome, Master...) that "influenced" him, so that got a big thumbs up from me.   devilbang

Sadly I haven't seen the Carcass reunion, it's not coming here.  I'd love to see those guys again!
