I can’t explain it, for some reason this is my favorite Overkill album.  Blitz’s vocals are more sung than shouted, and the songs themselves are more of a NWOBHM/American power metal mold than what they did after this album and I LOVE their later albums as well.

Man, the title track SMOKES.   It sounds to me like one of the best Iron Maiden songs Iron Maiden never wrote. 

“There’s nothing I despise more, than a BITCH”

And, who can argue how awesome Hammerhead and Overkill are?  Seriously, only posers can.



Appreciate this godly album.

That song is so awesome.  I've seen Overkill like 7 times and they've never done it live.

Really????  Wow.  I've seen them twice and I can't remember if they did it or not.  Once was on the Horroscope tour and the other was them opening for Motorhead on their Orgasmatron tour....... not sure what album Overkill were touring for though?

There was a report a few years ago that they were going to do an anniversary show and play all of Feel the Fire, but I don't believe that ever came to fruition.

Hmm, saw them on the From the Underground, Necroshine, 2-3 times for Killbox and twice for RelixIV tours.
