So I finally watched this today, been putting it off cause I hated batman begins, and although I didnt love it, I thought it dragged towards the end, I did like it, quite a lot actually
But I have a question, morgan freeman knows who he is right, so why does he still keep up the stupid voice when they are alone and hes in his batman suit, its not like he needs to hide his identity  scratch

This was an awesome movie. I don't know if I'd say it's better than Batman Begins because both definitely have their strong points as far as the villains and the actors that portrayed them. Ledger CRUSHED the role of The Joker more than I could have imagined he would and Liam was great in Batman Begins.

Christian Bale is far and away my favorite Bruce Wayne, but I'm not crazy about his portrayal of Batman. The voice he uses to hide his identity is fuckin' annoying. Go a little deeper and he could front for Disembowelment.

The movie was AWESOME! Easily my fave Batman movie so far.

Now to attempt answering ANP's question...
When wearing the Batman suit, Bruce Wayne is probably using some kind of voice modulator device and probably just forgot to turn it off.  diablotin

The easiest explanation is usually the right one...
Unless his Batman suit makes him feel like he's got balls of steel, and as a result he just feels compelled to talk like that because he thinks he's too frakkin' cool   lol

Ya, his Batman voice is definitely annoying.  I asked my girlfriend when we were watching the movie if he was doing that on purpose or if he was using some sort of voice alteration in his batsuit.  lol
