Ok, so what exactly is a "3G" network? I'm still pretty dense when it comes to cell phones.

it's pretty much the fastest wireless network for phones and wireless devices, not to mention a HUGE improvement over AT&T's previous wireless network. T-Mobile uses The Edge which is pretty fast

Ok, so basically it enables me if I have an iPhone to go online at broadband speeds? That's cool.

The iPhone is, without a doubt, the coolest invention in a loooooong time for me. And I'm not even a phone person.

Yea. For instance, I've never really used calendars before. Now I use them everyday. I can sync all my contacts, email (from any account), calendars, websites and everything else to not only my phone but every computer I use. So any info I need is always there. I check my work email on the phone before I go in to help plan my day before I step foot in the door. There are useful applications for just about anything too. I'm a big weather guy so anytime I need to see what it's going to be like..... click.... done. It's pretty damn cool. I played with it in the store for abut 20 minutes and it was...... cool. But then after about 20 minutes at home, what it can do is absolutely mindblowing. It's seriously a computer in your hand. Plus it makes calls!
But, as all of you are painfully aware, I'm a Mac fanboy so I just HAD to have it.

That makes sense. I like it. But my job doesn't keep me tied to the phone and they never call.
It's funny, I had another cell phone before I got the iPhone but I always kept it in my truck. But this goes everywhere with me. So now you can actually get a hold of me!

Cool, I only use 3 of those but thanks for the link. Those are always cool to see for a geek like me. I follow a few Apple websites daily and those lists pop up all the time. I didn't jailbreak my phone so most of those won't work. Jailbreaking is basically "cracking" the software to allow applications and things like that to be used that aren't authorized by Apple.
