Yeah unfortunately I can't post from my Touch at work since it is a secured network!
But that is ok, I will just use the company PC for that!

I guess you haven't surfed on an ipod touch or an iphone yet?
it's a truly revolutionary device for tech junkies on the go; it actually makes a blackberry seem archaic. So far there' nothing in the PC world that remotely compares to it. Unless your jeans pockets are big enough to hold a laptop, and that doesn't take into account actual battery life.

NO my house is about 2400 square feet. Not huge by any stretch of the imagination but large enough for the 8 of us when everyone is home.

So doesn't the iPhone have a connection in the actual phone, or are you supposed to run it off a wireless router or something?

The new iphone needs a 3G network (only Rogers & Fido) in Canada or you can use any Wifi access whenever in range of an unsecured network if you want to save minutes of your phone monthly data plan. Unlike the iphone, the ipod touch has no monthly fees attached to it but works with Wifi only to connect to the internet or your home network; but it does have all the internet browsing, email and most features of the iphone minus the actual phone, camera and GPS capabilities. And if you use a mac with the latest version of OS X, you can sync your device with ical, iphoto and your mac's address book.
With both devices, you can listen to music, watch movies, TV shows. video podcasts, photo slide shows and the cool thing is there tons of web apps already available and most of them work on both the iphone and ipod touch. To see the full potential and check this out:
http://www.apple.com/ca/iphone/webapps/
I know, too much information, I guess I'm a mac addict

And better than webapps are thousand of native applications you can download from the
iTunes Store
, free or not. The iPhone/iPodTouch have a streamlined version of OSX (with underlying Unix) so these Apps are truly amazing.

My computer is in my room because I share an apartment with a friend. That said, I really want to get a laptop so I can do this shit, check my fantasy stuff and watch football at the same time.
