I've really enjoyed reading all the touching comments on the BB, Facebook and on here.  He was the same guy no matter who was around.  A genuine class act.  I feel honored that our paths crossed and I got to know him.  He changed lives and made everyone around him feel good.

I'm still devastated but the posts bring a smile to my face.

Having both been a part of The End Records, obviously I got to know the guy and had many conversations with him over the years.  It blows me away to think that he's gone, he was still a young man full of energy, with so much enthusiasm particularly towards the music he loved.  One of the main things I've enjoyed about going to forums like this one was taking part in his threads where we could both geek out on Cheap Trick or KISS or some of the other things that we both mutually liked.  This is just such a damned shame, I don't really know what else to say?  His presence will be missed in the music scene, surely.  He helped my band out ALOT, and was always fun to be around when we came through town.  We're gonna miss our friend Sad

MetalShock called this afternoon to tell me..... After reading all the posts, it's still hard to believe MPB is gone.

I finally got to meet him in person at ProgPower and he was so kind to me and was genuinely interested in my radio station, asking me questions about it.  You will be missed, Adrian.  R.I.P.

What a great loss.

There will never be anyone like him, and I'm better for having known him.

Took me awhile to go to sleep last night,
I kept thinking about Adrian and wishing this was another elaborate prank of his.

I don't remember exactly how I was introduced to him but we met about 10 years ago most likely at a concert.
I remember liking the guy instantly and we really hit it off on a personal level, not just metal. He would always phone me out of the blue just to shoot the shit and see how I was doing. He quickly became one of the most prominent members on the BB and for anyone who met him, it's quite easy to understand why. Back in the BB early days, Adrian was there almost 24/7, in fact whenever the BB would go offline I would get a call from Adrian within 5 minutes to tell me the board was down and to please get it back online ASAP!!! like it was a matter of life and death. I've been reading all the replies made in his honour over at the BB and it truly warms my heart to see such a display of friendship from all the people that were touched by this teddy bear of a man.

On a personal note, I was surprised that the dude from the "other mag" was sharing with me all sorts of music industry scoops and showing me advanced UNRESTRAINED! cover designs before going to press and asking my opinion? After all I was working for the "competition", but such was our friendship, that over the years, I got more words of encouragements and positive feedback from Adrian than the powers that be I actually worked for. That's the kind of guy Adrian was and I always wondered how it would be to work with him.

I really hope the next issue of U! will see the light of day, the last time I spoke to Adrian about two weeks ago, he told me the mag was a bit behind schedule but he seemed very hyped up about it, he even emailed me the upcoming cover design (Rex did a fantastic job as usual) and while I was re-reading the last few emails I got from him, it made me realize how much I'm looking forward to read it.

Here's to you Adrian  beerbang

I hope the latest issue comes out too. It was 99% done. In fact we were supposed to send it off to press Tuesday. And you are right, he was ultra encouraging. I know Tate and Rob are going to do everything they can to get this issue out. We're trying to make a few last minute changes obviously, but hopefully it'll see the light of day soon.

Adrian was psyched about the cover of the upcoming issue. It was an idea that he wanted to do from my first issue. It just never worked out until now. I'm glad he was able to see that idea fleshed out.

Like Hellboy said, I just want it to be a big prank.

Has there been an update on what happened yet?  Not knowing is just ripping at me, seems it might be easier to accept if I knew why?
