For about the past 6 weeks, my wife and I have been going out with friends every Friday for dinner and beers,,,,,it has proven to be a great time,,,,,lots of laughs, lots of smiles, and a tremendous stress reliever.

I find I'm enjoying my entire weekends more.

Amen to that. Since my ex-girlfriend (8 years) and I split a year ago (the first time laff), I can't remember a Friday OR Saturday night when I haven't gone out and had a blast with friends or had people over for a shindig. You live only once! Making memories is a great time.  cheers

one of the few things i miss about Montreal is going out with friends friday and saturday nights and blowing off some steam.

That's really cool.  We've been getting out a out more recently too.  If not to hang out with friends, we like checking out some of the small local restaurants and trying new things.  We haven't eaten at a big chain restaurant in close to a year now.

Good. Chain restaurants suck for the most part. There's a ton of awesome smaller Italian and Mexican restaurants around here that are excellent for date nights, or just damn good food.

Thrashing fuckoffs to The Olive Garden and their frozen Tyson chicken that I can buy at the store!
