HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!  For the Holiday, i thought I would do that All-American Classic, S.O.D.'s Speak English or Die. Nothing says Thanksgiving like that.  lol Released in 1985, this was a hardcore/crossover classic with members from Anthrax, Nuclear Assault and MOD. This was originally meant to be a one off thing, but in 1998 the band reformed to do a follow up album that was not nearly as good as this classic. Thoughts on this album that yes I posted a day early since post of us will probably not be on the MM board tomorrow:

Track Listing:

   1. Sergeant D & The S.O.D.
   2. Kill Yourself
   3. Milano Mosh
   4. Speak English Or Die!
   5. United Forces
   6. Chromatic Death
   7. Pi Alpha Nu
   8. Antiprocrastination Song
   9. What's That Noise ?
  10. Freddy Krueger
  11. Milk
  12. Pre-Menstrual Princess Blues
  13. Pussywhipped
  14. Fist - Banging Mania
  15. No Turning Back
  16. Fuck The Middle East
  17. Douche Crew (D.C.)
  18. Hey Gordy !!

Psssst........ change the date

GREAT ALBUM!!!!!!!   devilbang devilbang devilbang devilbang

This is another one of those albums I remember exactly where I was and my reaction when I first heard it.  I was getting into more punk at the time and this was a perfect blend of the "fuck you" attitude of that with the brutal metal.  The lyrics were perfectly offensive and the music was timeless.  I still think this was the best thing Scott and Charlie were ever a part of.  A true classic IMO.

I listen to this album just as much for the laughs as I do the music.  I wish that put it on the classic level so many place it on but I think I had to be a part of the experience when this came out.  It's good but I feel like I don't "get it" like everybody else.
