Classic Album of the Day 11/26/08: Anthrax - Stomp 442

[Venom]

Anthrax's 1995 release Stomp 442 to me is their last really good album. While I am sure it will not garner good responses here, to me it contains some really killer tracks such as, Acts Of Senseless Violence, Fueled, King Size, Riding Shotgun, In A Zone and American Pompeii.  Of course, it does not hurt to have Dimebag Darryl from Pantera playing solos on a number of songs on this album as well since the diminutive clockmaker Dan Spitz left the band after Sound of White Noise. Thoughts??

I liked a couple tunes on it back when it came out,  but overall, I thought it was a HUGE disappointment.

Only bush era album I own, or want to own is the sound of white noise, to say he was better than belladona is just insane, no suprise thats venoms opinion  Anthrax ceased to exist to me after joey left, all the bush era albums are rubbish..

Venom, I think you named every good song on the album.  It's half good.  I used to love it but unlike SOWN, it's gotten worse every time I played it over the years.
