Well that's just wonderful.

   Exactly!  Why are they so high if they don't take care of these things?

I just hope I didn't take the easy way out.  He suggested that I have them replace the whole line...... all the way inside.  That would have been 6 grand.  But they couldn't have the finished until Monday.  I'd have to re-tile the floor where the main valve comes into the laundry room and stay in a hotel all weekend.  I just hope I didn't waste 3 grand if the pipe breaks somewhere else.  Because then I'd need to do it all over again.  Live and learn I guess.

It's around 30 years old and it'd definitely on our property.  It's fixed now so all is good.  Except my wallet of course.


Oh, and in case and of you were wondering........ yes, I just took a glorious dump.

Take a dump then flush, run outside and see if the turd comes through the open pipe while the mexican is down the hole, be like a new version of poo sticks 

If the poo comes out the incoming water line,,,,,there really is a problem,,,,,
