Just read the excellent HALL OF FAME section in this month's DECIBEL on the album -- great read and interview with all 4 members! A lil' preview in DECIBLOG:
http://decibelmagazine.com/index.php/?p=959
Anyway....I don't have the album around wanted to throw it on to hear it so I picked it up for $11.00 at HMV on the weekend, and man, I forgot how much I loved this album growing up! So many badass songs!

Still don't understand the whole "no bass" thing though...I heard it was a way to haze Jason, let him play but mix it all out...kinda dumb to sacrifice the sound of your album for that, IMO...if that's what it was...

While this album has a unique sound to it, it should have been so much better.
You hear how much more ass every single one of these songs kick on that Seattle 89 video? Yeah, I wish Justice sounded like that.

There are some really excellent moments on this album,,,,,but overall, I think it's just ok,,,,,and I never seem to return to it,,,,,I think my favorite track has always been "Blackened",,,,,
I do remember them playing "Harverster Of Sorrow" when they were on the Monsters of Rock tour, and really not liking it,,,,,

Big improvement, if only they would remaster it with bass

It's a great album and I did play the shit out of it back in the day, but despite the bad production it was a worthy successor to MOP.
Unfortunately, the band has never been the same without Cliff...
