Van Halen's 1978 debut is one hell of a  slab of guitar hard rock.  Another one of the best debuts to ever to come out.  Eddie was in fine form on this album and really influenced a whole generation of guitar players with his unique brand of playing.  David Lee Roth was even in check on this one, years before he got out of hand with his shtick.  To me, this album has 10 killer tracks with Little Dreamer being the only less than godly song.

Track listing:

1. Runnin' With The Devil
2. Eruption
3. You Really Got Me
4. Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love
5. I'm The One
6. Jamie's Cryin'
7. Atomic Punk
8. Feel Your Love Tonight
9. Little Dreamer
10. Ice Cream Man
11. On Fire

Yep, classic for sure.

Don't own any VH on disc, however-- they're one of those bands I don't believe I'd spin often enough to warrant picking them up-- have most of the Roth stuff on cassette somewhere, I believe...

The problem is the intro.  Between face offs V, by the time the song gets going, it's time to drop the puck.  lol
