With all the vinyl revival going on, I thought it could use it's own thread...
Really enjoy the ritual of listening to a vinyl and watch the LP spin!  devilbang

I love Geoff Tate's 1 inch vertical ability.

I want to play, but I haven't been home for a bit.  Here's the last thing I played:

Summoning, With Doom We Came

I've only spun it once, and there's not much I can say after one listen other than if you enjoy Summoning (I love Summoning), this is par for the course.

Opeth- Still Life

I have this CD already, but it's one of a very few albums I also want on vinyl (along with the 3 Opeth albums which preceded it).

Was spinning the new At the Gates, To Drink from the Night Itself earlier yesterday.  I like it, but I was listening to it while cleaning the house so it didn't get my 100% attention.  Sounds solid after that first listen, and slightly the same but different (?) than other ATG's albums.

I purchased the sea green version  Buck Teeth

I think Relapse just repressed a limited version of Tales from the Thousand Lakes.  You wouldn't be spinning one of those would you Hugues?

Stan already saw this, but last Sunday, August 5th I spun all of these (one side each). All originals from the 80's. Had to wet clean them and then vacuum them with a Squeaky Clean Vinyl Record Cleaner MK-III (which I recently purchased from a guy in Canada) and it works excellent. Even the beat up albums sounded good.

Today...

Yup, I'm gay. I'm like Farley and Spade in Tommy Boy.... closet Carpenters fan lol No really, I truly do like Karen Carpenters voice, but I think it's more that they remind me of my mom when I hear them. Anyway, $4 used record store buy.

MS, take a picture of your living room floor.  If it's not littered with ashtrays and beer bottles, then I'm calling bullshit on your marathon.
