I figured we needed a movie thread

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

This movie was awful.  I can't believe Stephen Speilberg had anything to do with this.  So bad that I can't even begin to name the things that impressed me about it.  There wasn't much.  The lighting was awful, the acting was weak and oh boy, the storyline...... but since I have very, VERY little respect for anything from George Lucas these days, it's not surprising.  Easily one of the worst movies I've seen all year.

I downloaded this one and felt ripped off!  lol

Halloween II

It had been a LONG time since I last saw it, so in many ways, it was like watching for the first time all over again.  What an awesome sequel.  If you watch I and II back-to-back, it's like one, fairly long, perfect movie haha!

On DVD, it is all rented horror movies this month.  At the theater, I saw Body of Lies this past weekend. I liked it and it actually did have a new GNR song during the beginning of the closing credits. nana

On Saturday past I went to see Miracle at St. Anna. It was good though pretty long & a hell of a lot of subtitles, I enjoyed it though & gave the friends I went to see it with & I plenty to talk about.

Last dvd I watched was The Happening last night. Now that was a film that could have used a bit of streching out, just too short. Ok but not anything special.
