Omen's 1984 debut Battle Cry was a masterpiece of Iron Maiden worshiped metal.  I am sure I will get the usual "never heard of it" responses but this album was a great slab of traditional metal.  If you don;t have this album, search it out especially if you love traditional metal.  Favorite tracks are: Death Rider, Last Rites, Be My Wench, Battle Cry and Die By The Blade just to name a few.  I love this whole album!!!!!!!  Anyone else?

 Track Listing:

   1. Death Rider
   2. The Axeman
   3. Last Rites
   4. Dragon's Breath
   5. Be My Wench
   6. Battle Cry
   7. Die By The Blade
   8. Prince Of Darkness
   9. Bring Out The Beast
  10. In The Arena

Man, I have this LP actually leaning up against the wall in my office along with about 5 oither LP's that aren't packed away in boxes.  I have to admit that I haven't listened to this in ages.  Like most of their material though.  The pictures on the back of the band members in their leather outfits are funny.  It's nostalgic stuff, remembering the days when I thought this looked cool, but now.... uh... no.  It's all about the memories though  devilbang

Never really cared for Omen.

Dude... these mutha's play some kick ass 80's metal.  I' surprised you never really cared for them, especially the J.D. Kimball (R.I.P.) stuff.  The Coburn Pharr album Escape To Nowhere was fair, but not nearly as good as the Kimball albums.

I've known about this band since it was current in the scene, but only recently bought the CDs. Very cool group.

I have to track this one down, it's been too long and I don't remember much about it to be honest...
