Oh, man. I am a MAJOR fan of this album ... and band, although I haven't kept up with its releases in recent years.
Thunder In The East
is monumental 80s heavy metal. Truly one of my all-time favourite records. I even have a two-tape VHS release from Japan that features makeshift videos for each song on the album. Found them in a Japanese video store in the early 90s and coaxed the owner into selling them.
My Loudness collection is vast. I have no less than 24 hours of Loudness footage on VHS tapes.
I also saw the band perform at the old CNE Grandstand here in Toronto in 1986, opening for AC/DC. Oh, and I bought the tour shirt, as well.
I probably own more Loudness records, tapes, cassettes, and CDs than any other band.

Been a huge fan of this band and album since this came out way back in '85! The Lines Are Down is my favourite track. The awesome part about this album is they did a video collection for every song on the record! Likely spent about $100 making it...it's a gem!

"The Lines Are Down" is a classic, totally. I played the song in one of my classes in high school. Can't remember why. I think it was to discuss the lyrics to songs we dug.
As I said in my response above, I own those VHS tapes of the vids.

The Lines are Down is the heaviest song on the album with a monster chugging riff to it.
