Iron Maiden question for Klsch, or anyone else.

My boys got into my Live After Death cd and scuffed it up, but it still plays. I have the oooolllllldddddd 1 CD version. I must have had that CD for about 24 years now.
Anyway, I noticed on EBAY they finally added the last 5 songs that couldn't fit on an original 1 CD since I believe back then they could put on about 72 minutes on a CD.
I found the re-issued 2 CD version used for $7.
My question is: During 'Running Free,' did they edit out the crowd response portion again, or did they put it back in?

How in the world could you settle for the 1CD version?
I've got the 2CD version and as far as I recall (I'll spin it here in a bit to make sure) Bruce does the whole rigmarole with the crowd during
Running Free
. But I'm pretty sure because that was one of the things I noticed was different from the CD version over the cassette version I used to have.
... the 1CD version. I mean really!

Yeah, the remastered reissues that you can find now include the extended crowd banter in Running Free. As opposed to the old 1 CD version that edited that out (rather oddly too). And those 5 live songs from Hammersmith are incredible. I kind of wish the entire album was recorded there as the real weakness on Live After Death is Bruce's spotty vocal performance which was infinitely better during that Hammersmith gig.
I just wish they had also included Murders in the Rue Morgue and Losfer Words which were live B-sides from that era, on the 2 CD version so we could have all of the World Slavery live stuff in one package.

MK I was shopping around earlier and found these two LPs I thought you might want. I've got the full versions of both so I don't need them ...

I did not even know that they released those b-sides on the 1995 reissued version.
It sounds like they need to re-issue it yet again with ALL the tracks.

OK...I got the CD yesterday and man is it great to hear side 4 again.
And it's been so long that I do agree with Klsch. The recording at Hammersmith does sound clearer and Bruce's vocals do sound stronger than the Long Beach performance.
It's good to finally have all 17 tracks again.

When I saw maiden in 2000 I saw them in the middle of fucking nowhere in Scranton, PA. Bruce was like "I'm never gonna remember that so I'm just gonna call you Long Beach". So we got "Scream for me Long Beach" for most of the night.
It ruled.

Does anyone know what Bruce says between the Trooper and Revelations?
Something about "Nice to see ya...we'll see ya......????????"
Then, he says "Here's a song about religion...all about washing your car.......???????"
I've been clueless what the hell he has been saying for 26+ years.

I've always thought: "Nice to see ya - to see ya, is real nice, heheeh ..."

Again, my impressions: "Here's a song about religion - or about washing your car ... I say it's about washing a pair of curtains. Song's called REVELATIONS this one!"
That's all off the top of my head. I haven't actually listened to the album in several months.

This thread made me realize I have the Bo-Bo version of "Live after Death" as well. Going to rectify that real soon
