Which is kind of weird, don't you think? It's one of their many "fan favorite" songs.

Doesn't bother me really, never loved that song nearly as much as Venom appears to.  lol   And if they didn't do it on the 2005 or 2008 tours it's never gonna happen.

Will definitely pick this up.

Come to think of it, I've never heard or seen the Live at Donnington dvd/cd.

Worth it?  I'm guessing not, given the time-frame...

That is a terrible video.  It's shot in half black and white/half color and some in slow mo.  It's like Rock in Rio but tries to be all artsy fartsy.  I'd skip it.

Actually, amazon is saying March 26  scratch

Not that it matters much.

There are samples on amazon.de and this is really sounding good.  devilbang

Can't wait for this!  devilbang

As for fan favorites, I consider these songs as the MAIDEN SIX which seemed to have to be played regardless of the tour....

Iron Maiden (duh!)
Run To the Hills
Hallowed By Thy Name
Number of the Beast
The Trooper
Fear of the Dark

I'm really looking forward to seeing The Talisman on this.  That has really become a Top 10 favorite Maiden song for me over the years.  devilbang devilbang devilbang devilbang devilbang

And the only two songs that are played ALL THE TIME are-

Iron Maiden (it still cracks me up to see noobs saying they should drop this.  LOL, fuck off!)
Hallowed Be Thy Name

Fear of the Dark is close but wasn't played in 2005 and I really don't want to see it this year either (doesn't make sense with the Maiden England thing, although that didn't stop them from doing it on the Powerslave era tour)
Run to the Hills is kind of off and on.  I get the sense they don't dig playing it
The Number of the Beast and The Trooper were not played in 06, but they often are

I know way too much of this shit off the top of my head.  hammerhead lol eddie

I'm just thinking and hoping that Best Buy will have it for cheap.  Big Smile

And the DVD will give my older son a nice example of what he will be seeing on August 9th.  beerbang
