A few that come to mind right away are early-year releases by
Abigail Williams
,
Alcest
,
Cannibal Corpse
,
Dyscarnate
, and
Goatwhore
If these early months are any indication, 2012 will be another terrific year for metal.

I'm all over these:
Testament
Biohazard
Cannibal Corpse
I'm intrigued by these:
Asphyx
Marduk
I'll check out these:
Soulfly
Obituary
Lamb of God
On Metal Storm's upcoming release list, I also see Suffocation, The Crown, Cradle of Filth, Slayer, Malevolent Creation and Hypocrisy. I doubt all of those will happen, but if any of them do, I'm all over 'em.

Obituary
Suffocation
Malevolent Creation
Hypocrisy
Pretty much these and the new Running Wild and Manowar albums.
I also believe that Circus Maximus will have a new one out this year as well. That will rule.

After hearing that Van Halen single, I'm not too sure about the VH now, but I will of course have to hear the album all the way through.
Tankard will probably release a new one by the end of the year.

I already have the reissues of Mortuary Drape's Secret Sudaria & Sigh's Scorn Defeat on their way to me. Plus I've preordered FARSOT - Insects, ALCEST - Les Voyages de L'ame, DARK SUNS - Orange & TENHI - Saivo. I'll probably be ordering THE DEVIL'S BLOOD - The Thousandfold Epicentre, LIBERTEER - Better to Die on Your Feet Than Live on Your Knees & PSYCROPTIC - Inherited Repression by week's end. With all this coming out just in the first month of January it sure does seem like it's going to be a great metal year.
