I am incredibly saddened at this news.  Sad

Ironically enough, I met David one time at Adrian's memorial and he was a friendly guy.  I believe there is a picture of Zeke and I with David and a 4th gentlemen whom I don't know.  He might be another band member.

That's the most recent drummer (Evan Madden), also of The Green Evening Requiem and formerly of WOE.

I met David at the CD release for Pursuit. Nice guy. Of course, Adrian was there gushing over the record. Adrian was such a huge supporter, and it was fitting that Woods headlined his memorial.

Every time I saw David at a show, he was kind and friendly.

May he rest in peace.

I've communicated with him many times since around 2003, a lot via snail mail while he was in Korea, and had the great opportunity to see them twice (in Toronto) but missed them both times they came to the SE US.

Last spring Dave asked if I was going to be able to make it to Charlotte to see them-- I told him I already had good floor seats for Rush in Greenville the same night.

His resonse:

"Haha, aw man, go see that RUSH show!  I would!  :)  Floor seats too! 

I got 30 years left in me... RUSH don't! 

DG"

I don't mean to sound insensitive by asking this question, but, have the details of the accident been released yet?  I've read some articles, but, I'm confused about what actually happened.

Yeah, everything is fairly sketchy at this point.  Apparently he was a pedestrian and was struck (possibly by a semi).

That's what I'm gathering too,,,,,and out of respect for his family and friends, I won't speculate beyond that.
