Wow, I just read this from Megadeth's Facebook feed ... what a fucking show this would have been!

History was made last night (Saturday, December 10) when Dave Mustaine rejoined Metallica on stage for the first time in almost three decades to perform with the band. Dave played five songs with Metallica; "Hit The Lights", "Metal Militia", "Phantom Lord", "Jump In the Fire", and "Seek And Destroy". Former Metallica members Jason Newsted, Lloyd Grant, Ron McGovney, Hugh Tanner, along with the band's longtime producer Bob Rock, as well as Black Sabbath legends Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler also joined Metallica on stage last night for the fourth and final intimate show at the Fillmore in San Francisco as part of the week-long celebration of its 30th anniversary as a band for fan club members only.
Metallica's first full lineup — featuring James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Dave Mustaine and Ron McGovney — played its first gig on March 14, 1982 at Radio City in Anaheim, California.

I can't wait to see some footage of this!  devilbang

They really did these shows the right way (and I'm sure we'll see more bands using this as a blueprint).

I mean.... Lloyd Grant, Ron McGovney, Hugh Tanner????!!!  How fucking cool is that??
They didn't forget anyone from what it looks like.

People always complain they they've lost touch but then they go and do something like this.

They gotta put this out on DVD.  They just gotta.

And I love using gotta in a sentence.  Buck Teeth

I'm sure he would have been there if he could.  Looks like they're in Sweden right now.

Tony Iommi is another one but from what he said in his book, he's not a guy that usually likes to play with other people that often.

Iommi would have been great, but at least they had Geezer and Ozzy there.

they should've have gotten Gary Holt to come up and play Trapped under ice and/or Creeping death. Up To Something
