It's the lack of the younger posters from the BB here that sets this place apart from the other board.

And once again, not to get all sentimental, but most of the people on this board I met from Adrian's Memorial.  There is a very tight sense of a family atmosphere here.  There is my saga in the Asylum that I probably would not post elsewhere.  And for those that do respond, you give me a genuine response/advice that you truly care.

you know what i loooove about this place?if i'm ever confused as to what day it is i just go to the random thoughts thread and i'm sure to find either:

a)37 posts per page saying how today is friday and that the upcoming weekend is gonna rock.
b)43 posts per page counting down the days until friday,because the next weekend is gonna rock.

Oh, I also went with smooth atmosphere.  As attractive as the other features are and all.  And I'll be honest, I often find myself looking up bands that Protag  posts in the now playing thread (as well as others, but he clearly posts the bulk of the content in that thread).

Oh, and beast - Hugues has a few secret smiley's lurking around that aren't in the main menu ...

Like Beast mention in the Venom thread on the other board "I'll never understand how some people can claim to love metal but all they do is rant about all the metal albums they hate".

Also, there isn't a sense of "entitlement" and the resulting need to bitch and moan if a band doesn't meet their expectations.  If an album sucks, we might comment on it but we don't go on and on and on about it.
