So, going into the break, I'm wondering if any of you guys are happy/unhappy with the positions of your teams?

My Kings are basically where they were last year.  2nd place and in the 7th spot in the West.  Can't say I'm either happy or unhappy.  I did expect a little more offense from this team being dead last in the west.  LA was 7th in the west going into the playoffs last year.

So, no change really.

I'm a Penguins fan.  Despite the fact that Crosby is gone (yet again) the team is doing fairly well, so yeah, I'm satisfied.

To tell you the truth, I'm not sure I even care at this point about the Caps. 

I still watch the games but I'm usually on the iPad playing solitaire or looking at the web.  I'll look up when something is happening but it just pisses me off that they have as much talent as they do and they can't do anything with it.

They're just so inconsistent that I can't let myself get attached like I did in the past few years.  One game they thoroughly dominate and the next they don't even show up.  I mean, if they're not going to bother to commit, why should the fans?  I hate to admit that but it's really how I feel.

Caps are underachieving and are lucky to be in the worst division in the NHL.

To be honest, maybe this will bode better for us come playoff time.

Thor and Brian, we're in the same boat.  That's the way I feel about the Kings.  LA has been in the league since '67.  LA and the Leafs are now the two teams that have gone the longest without a Cup.

But really, I mean for teams like San Jose, Detroit, Vancouver, Chicago, NYR, and Boston, this whole regular season thing is just a big ass waste of time.
