Are the Bruins actually the defending champions?  They sure looked like it here the other night here in Halifax after they pounded the Canadiens in an exhibition match.

Thoughts on the looming season?  My own hopes of a Pittsburgh run are a bit gray, but given the effort the team put on in the recent post-season, I'm not counting anything out.  Let's go Pens!

Is Crosby OK to return or is he still having concussion symptoms? 

I don't really like the guy but it would be a shame if he can't return.  He's an amazing talent, that's for sure.

As far as I know he's out until he's 100%.  And I agree, I hate the shitbag, but the sport is better with him in it.

I wonder if whoever approved him to play in that Lightning game was fired?

I can't wait to watch the Boston STANLEY MOTHERFUCKING CUP CHAMPION Bruins start.

I still get giggly when I think about that.  Honestly.  Somehow, this has topped the 2004 Sox WS for me for "HOLY SHIT THAT HAPPENED" moments.  I guess after the way the previous season ended I was so down about the team, winning it just seemed infinitely more amazing.
