A band I never got into.
Why not Mr. Open Minded??  Roll Eyes
The tunes I heard on the radio never caught my fancy.  Don't care for the vocals either.
But yet you love Geddy Lee's vocals???  scratch I don;t get you at times.... Up To Something

I must be of the minority here, because I like ALL their stuff, especially MR and i actually love 2004's Into The Now [great come-back album].  Venom, you said you hated 5 Man Acoustical Jam, I can see why so many do, but that was an amazing album IMO and also was one of the first [if not first] albums when bands started doing the "unpluggled" thing.  The whole "unplugged thing" may piss off some metal heads, but not me.  I enjoy that album or DVD when I'm at work.

As for the cover of "signs", they did a great job of it.  They also seemed to do some thinking in regards to the title of the album "5 Man Acoustical Jam", as the origimal band who performed that cover of Signs was called "5 Man Electrical Band".

As for MR.... excellent album, especially the tracks Comin' Atcha Live and 2 Late 4 Love.  Love the first lyrics of 2 Late 4 Love:
I can't believe this fucked up world in which we're livin' in.  Still I do the best that I can.  Always got me on the lookout for a getaway.  Runnin' hard, I'm a rock 'n' roll man.

I tortured my fiance this summer on the way back from the Backstreet Boys (Yes, her favorite band and the tickets her birthday present) by singing every lyrics to every song on this album.  A total classic and, even though I prefer Psychotic Supper to it, their most solid release.  Fantastic band and one of the best of their time.  Certainly able to reach beyond the crappy company they kept back then.  100% pure rock and roll.
