I'm wondering since Nevermore canceled their tour if the Sanctuary appearance here is in any jeopardy.

I'm listening to After right now & LOVE the sax parts on that album sorta reminds me of Van Der Graf Generator in a black metalish way.  lol

I'm not a solo Ihsahn fan at all and I wasn't a big fan of some of the later Emperor stuff.

Don't get your panties in a wad.  I'd love to see Dream Evil and Therion and Sanctuary, but Sanctuary will likely tour, I'm only so-so interested in Therion and as much as I like Dream Evil's music, without Gus G or Snowie I really don't care.

So yeah, Arcturus was a huge reason I wanted to go.

Well, they're the band that tipped the scale for me.
I like some of the other bands a lot.  But I'm not rich, and tickets + travel + hotel may not make sense without Arcturus.

Sorry the band you really wanted to see bailed on ya!  Sad

I wasn't too crazy about later Emperor either especially IX Equilibrium Prometheus has it's moments though I might just be saying that cause I snagged it for free from a CM rep. I do like all the Ihsahn solo stuff even the tracks that wannabe Opeth but love the saxophone on the last album.
