Crows Fly Back is pretty good too. I hope Oceans of Sadness are as good live as they are in the studio.

My spidey sense is tingling from the perceived fix.

Thursday Night
Six Minute Century-We missed on purpose.  According to friends who did see them, we didn't miss anything which is why we didn't get there to see them.  What I have heard of them previously did not impress me.  puke

Borealis-Melodic Power metal band from Toronto, Canada.  Once the band got over the rough vocal start of the first song, they were pretty good.  The band definitely got better as they went along.

Leprous-Progressive metal band from Norway.  All the band members are in Ishahn's (ex-Emperor) solo band. WOW!!  This band kick ass...The keyboard player/lead singer was entertaining as hell with his dreads.  The band was all dressed in some form of red and black.  They reminded me of Opeth, melodic at times but balls out heavy as hell at other times.  I would recommend checking them out if they ever play in the US again.  This was their first performance in America period.  Well done lads!! devilbang devilbang

ACCEPT-The Teutonic Terrors themselves from Germany....Let me start of by saying this....Udo who??? Mark Tornillo did such a fantastic job as the new singer in the band that you will not miss Udo.  Accept was always more than Udo anyway...ever heard of Wolf Hoffman??? My god, he was just fantastic last night.  So fluid with his fret work, looked like he was just enjoy the hell out of the performance and being on stage with the band again!!  Damn he was such a monster with his Flying V!!  The band played TONS of classics that I will try to post later when I have more time to think about what all they played.  They did play 2 songs from the new album: "Teutonic Terror" (which they have a video out for this song) and "The Abyss".  I wish they had also played "Beat The Bastards", which is the first song from the new album, but hey their performance was just flawless.  It was one of the BEST I have ever witnessed at Progpower in my 8 years of attending.  Of course, the band closed with their 2 best known songs "Fast As A Shark" and "Balls To The Wall". This was THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEKEND!!! I barely have a voice left now thanks to Accept!!  bowdown bowdown bowdown bowdown bowdown

Nothing more for me to add.  What Venom said was spot on.  Accept were absolutely flawless last night.  They opened up with Metal Heart, went right into Midnight Mover, London Leatherboys, and then Teutonic Terror....GIVE 'EM THE AXE!  I was looking around for Lizzy Borden when I heard the AXE chants.  lol

They also played Princess Of The Dawn, Son Of A Bitch, Breaker, Demon Night, and Losers and Winners.  I know I now have to WRITE A LETTER!

After the show we were all commenting that it very well could be the best set ever at a ProgPower.  Wolf was awesome, and Tornillo is thee PERFECT replacement foir Udo.  Flat out outstanding performance.
