That joy of having the windows opened just doesn't seem to last long enough. Before you know it's either too cold or hot.

Summer is making one final stand.  Yesterday was warm, but it got even warmer and more humid overnight.  Today is supposed to be close to 90 with humidity.

After today it's supposed to get almost fall-like, with highs around 70 and overnight lows in the upper 40s!

It's hard to believe that summer is nearly over.  It was nice and real hot a little while ago, then boom, it got cold.  It's been raining for the past couple of days.  Last nigh we had nothing but storms.  Looks like it'll be coldish for the the whole week.  I miss the heat already.  I feel that we didn't have that much of a summer this year.  Better than last year, but not as good as I hoped.  Being unemployed doesn't help either, especially for lack of money so I could enjoy Ottawa market patio season.  I did enjoy my patio, though.  Just not often enough.  Sad

We have had over 60 days of 90+ degree days & on top of that very little rain all season, we are in drought conditions. In the low 90s again today but for the next 9 days after that we are supposed to have highs in the low 80s & upper 70s.
