It's gotten cool enough in the house now that my glass doesn't leave a puddle in my coaster when I have a cold beverage. Fuck you condensation!  peace

Awesome.  thumb

I swear, I think the only reason I work is so I can have air conditioning and go on vacation.  That's it.

If I had to choose between the innovation of the spoon and fork or glorious, glorious air conditioning, I'd be eating with my hands everyday.

I remember the summer I spent in Germany.

That was a sweaty one.  No AC anywhere and the locals sparse use of deodorant.  Barf

Keep Germany on my list but visit in any season OTHER than summer. Bring nose plugs just in case.

Yeah, I could probably live in a world without AC, just as long as deoderant is abundant.

KRP, do you have much humidity up there?

I know it's miserable here but I can't even imagine how people put up with it in the south.  New Orleans?  Fuck that.  Humidity so thick you can almost swim in it.  Kill me now.

Yeah, we do get some pretty awful humidity, but you're right...it's nothing like the south.  It certainly never lasts for more thana week or 2.  I'll definitely ammend my previous statement to say that I'd live HERE without AC haha.

*imagines living in Florida without AC*  Barf

My sister didn't have AC in Hawaii, and it really wasn't needed.

Keep in mind of course that electricity costs in Hawaii are insane, and they constantly have a cool ocean breeze.

I know the first time I went to Orlando, FLA. in the summer & walked out of the airport the humidity was like a blast to the face & an instantaeous sweat producer. I glanced at the airport walls to see if there were any leeches stuck on them. YUCK!
