And R, since it is tomorrow night, shouldn't you have picked an hour number greater than 24? Up To Something

Not that I'm paying attention or anything like that.  lol

I can't believe that the Flyers lost a preseason game to their AHL affiliate  lol

I know it's preseason...... and it's not taken too seriously....... but still!  lol

R, you just asnwered your own question.

Bah, that score means nothing.  I would think that many of the Phantoms were dressed as Flyers.  Also, I would think that the hitting in that game would be very minimal, for obvious reasons.

Way to go NHL Network.  scratch

Last night, while I'm in a flu stupor, the NHL network decides to show the Oilers/Kings game 4 from 1982.  Game 3 was the Miracle On Manchester.  In Game 4, the Oilers won 3-2.

I mean, at least show game 5 when LA went into Edmonton and beat 'em.  scratch

Wow, all of our draft kids from last few years all seem to have made the roster.   We have Doan on a line with Canadian wonderkid Kyle Turris and Danny "I am going to score rather than kick the snot out of you" Carcillo.  Our 2nd line has 1st round pick from Denmark Mikkel Boedker with last year's 1st round pick Peter Mueller and Olle Jokinen.  The third line of second-year forward Daniel Winnik, second-year center Martin Hanzal and rookie Viktor Tikhonov(grandson of the great USSR coach).   Rookie Kevin Porter from the University of Michigan has also looked impressive.

It will be super tough in our awesome conference but GAME ON! shred thumb nana Evil Nana

We haven't bought any tickets yet to ay of the games.  Sad  I LOVE that the Cap's are selling out the building now but it was always nice getting tickets at the gate on a whim.  That's OK though, it's great to see them play to a full house for a change.  It was always frustrating to see the cheap seats packed but the lower bowl half empty for a few seasons.

How can anybody not like Ovechkin?  http://sports.excite.com/news/10082008/v7899.html

Quote
Ovechkin, who just turned 23, is basically a kid himself, one whose energy, enthusiasm and will to win are infectious.

He's 23, I'm assuming he's single.  And he is playing a sport he loves.  Not to sound like an asshole, but he should be the first guy on the rink.  He is the team leader, the QB if you will.  How can a fan NOT like the guy?  I don't know.  Is there any video of him being a cheap shot artist?  A pest? A punk?

I don't think so.  He and 'The Kid' are the TWO faces of the NHL right now.  I expect the Caps to be an amazing team for years to come as long as he dons the jersey.

Oh yeah, I put up my Kings seats on Craigslist last week.  I just got my first call for which game? Up To Something

Right, the Caps.

How many?

Make that January. I just looked. Oops.

Anyway - I figure all of us. Unless you'd rather go adults only. Waddya think? I think the kids might like it.

Edit. Yep - nothing. Well, we should still go to a game.
