Yes, I put the cash down for my Kings season seats.
A friend was able to buy 20 of the 41 home games from me, so I am happy about that.
I am expecting another disastrous season. But, like my wife said, "Matthew doesn't care if they win or lose, he is just happy to attend games with you."

My 'Queens' let go of Cammaleri to the Flames, I am not happy about that.
Visnovsky is now an Oiler I believe, I am not happy about that.
Bryan Murray's brother is now the head coach...better than Crawford, but a very ho-hum choice.
God My Queens are going to suck balls.

Yea, I'm a huge fan but I'm not distraught if my team loses. As long as they play hard and make it competitive, then I'm happy.

Involves ice...something Georgia is lacking.

The Leafs looked decent in the pre-season opener last night. Lots of good, young talent. However, I don't think they'll get the job done this year as it's a "rebuilding" year.

My life would be SOOO much more calm if I could adopt that attitude.

That's the problem with you being a Wings fan. The only way for you to go is down...... or to stay at number one year after year..... damn you! Now, being a fan of a perennial bottom-feeder team (The Cap's), we can't get any worse than we were a few years ago when Jagr was here. If we went down 2-0 in the first, we could turn off the TV knowing damn well that we wouldn't win. They would just give up (and F-ing Jagr even admitted this). Now it's different. We fight until the buzzer goes off and that is enough for me. I'd love to see us make a run for the Cup but I still think we're a year away but who knows? Like I said, as long as we don't give up and play consistently, I'm usually OK with a loss as long as I'm entertained.

The one thing our teams have in common are their best recent years were when they were battling each other in the playoffs.

The problem with being a Wings fan (for the past 18 or so years, anyway) is that you get spoiled! I guess it's all what you're used to seeing.
The good news is, according to someone on the BB - YOU'RE GOING TO THE FINALS THIS SEASON!!
The bad news is...

The Cap's won 4-1 over Carolina in their first pre-season game last night.
I remember last season when the Cap's won their first 3 games and were at number 1 for a few days.
Then they completely fell apart and dove into last place.
I think Im going to hold off boasting like that again this season!
