This sounds like a good story.  Do tell.  Cool

There isn't really one specific thing, it's just a whole bunch of awful experiences.  DD is King Kockbag.  The drummer and one of the guitarists (can't remember which) were Prince Kockbags.  Bobby was super cool, but sadly not cool enough to make up for DD's cuntness.

Why don't you just admit the truth - that their crushing awesomeness makes your vagina hurt, you wussbag? :)

They prolly refused to autograph his panties.

Sharktopus is definitely correct about them being pricks. Like...completely, over-the-top pricks haha.

Except for Bobby. He rules.

Their music isn't a bunch of pricks though, so who cares?  beerbang

The latest Machine Head might not be The Blackening (and really...what is?), but it still fucking OWNS.  devilbang

Yeah, tough to beat The Blackening but Locust is still a killer record.

It's amazing how this band rebounded from the turd that is Supercharger.

I was spinning The Burning Red the other day and to be honest, that record ain't too shabby either despite the couple of mallcore tracks on it.

Those albums don't exist. Here's their discography according to Nobody makes White Goodman bleed his own blood:

Burn My Eyes (1994)
The More Things Change... (1997)
Through the Ashes of Empires - 4 song EP Big Smile (2003)
The Blackening (2007)
Unto the Locust (2011)

Haha, I understand but I was surprised that The Burning Red had some kick ass tunes like "Nothing Left", "The Blood, the Sweat, the Tears", "Silver", "Exhale the Vile" and "The Burning Red".  I was glad I revisited it after all these years.

But for Supercharger....no, that album still blows.

Overkill's W.F.O. is fucking awesome, but man...who on earth (besides D.D.) thought I'd be a good idea to have the bass guitar THAT high in the mix? It's almost tiring to listen to because you have to listen "through" it to pay attention to what else is going on.

Luckily the songs kick enough ass that I can mostly get past it though.

bah, it's refreshing to hear loud bass! Buck Teeth
fun fact:  Blitz signed my um, gave me a autograph at the WFO listening party.  And they played part of Heaven and Hell live!

Sure they're consistent.  Consistently mediocre.  And that's being generous.

you are insane.  I know this for a fact now.    grindteeth

Machine Head absolutely CRUSHED last night. CRUSHED.  devilbang devilbang devilbang devilbang devilbang

- Played for over and hour and a half and the set list RULED
- The sound was incredible (and fucking LOUD...think this did some permanent hearing damage, or at least made the current damage worse)
- Was a bit curious if Rob and the other guys could pull off all the clean singing live. They did...perfectly.
- Same goes for guitar solos. Also pulled it off to a T.
- Awesome lighting/light show

Hadn't seen them since '97 on Ozzfest, where their set was short and the sound wasn't the greatest. This totally made up for that.  devilbang

Rain is pouring
The wind is howling
The skies are dark and dim
Something's got a hold on you
And drains you from within
Tangled up
In a world of sorrow
You lost believe
In a better tomorrow
Don't surrender, stand your ground
Time to turn around

Burn down the bridges
And leave it all behind
Turn on the music
Let it purify your mind

Shout it out
And play it loud
Cause this is what it's all about
Heavy Metal - Heavy Metal never dies
Heavy Metal never dies!

Raise your head up to the sky
And let the music take you high
May your inner warrior
Ride again in pride

Burn down the bridges
And leave it all behind
Turn on the music
To purify your mind

Shout it out
And play it loud
Cause this is what it's all about
Heavy Metal - Heavy Metal never dies
Heavy Metal never dies!

[Solo]

And by the power of Metal
You'll be strong
To become yourself again
To finally go on and on

Burn down the bridges
And leave it all behind
Turn on the music
Let it purify your mind

Shout it out
And play it loud
Cause this is what it's all about
Heavy Metal - Heavy Metal never dies
Heavy Metal never dies!
