Seriously, the two preview tracks are quite different and manage to fucking kick ass.

Torture is gonna be an awesome album.

I bought the new VH at Best Buy for $10.

So far, I am enjoying everything after Tattoo.

I mean, amazing guitarist and awesome drumming, and I dig some of the early songs...but not enough to really call myself a fan or even bother with owning the albums.

And then there's the Hagar era.

I am digging the new IF.  It's a bit different from their standard euro-power metal style.  They actually blend in some keyboards and musical sections that are little like gothenburg melodic death (think current Dark Tranquility) without the gruff vocals.  They also have a sci-fi theme on the album which is pretty cool.

The Iron Savior, which I initially liked, keeps getting better and better.  It really is a an ass kicking.

Love the chorus to Blood and Fire Stan.

After a 28 year hiatus, it's pretty impressive with what they have done.


And I have NO CLUE what they were thinking putting Tattoo as the lead single and putting it at track #1.

I heard the whole thing on Spotify last night...way, way better than I was expecting. "Tattoo" is still weak...not a lead track at all...but I was pleasantly surprised by it...I was expecting to not like it at all.
