I don't care who wins either.  All I want to see are competitive, close games...with about 4 OTs each game.  roll

Says the guy on the West Coast.  jester

I was able to stay up for the first 2 periods last night.  I don't care enough to stay up later.  I would if the Caps were in it.  Next year I guess.

It's been a really good series so far.  Either team could take it but I think Chicago might have the edge.  I got into hockey wayyyy back in 72' when I lived in Philly and the Flyers took the Cup (so I'm obviously rooting for them) but I don't really care who takes it as long as it's exciting.  And it has.  I hope it goes to 7.

I like the Flyers determination & in the last couple of minutes they were storming the net relentlessly at least till the Hawks got that empty netter.  diablotin Me likey hockey!

I want the Flyers to lose because the world is a better place when Philadelphia teams lose at anything.

Well, that was certainly a strange way to end the hockey season.  Kane between Leighton's legs (?) and then the puck goes AWOL under the white vinyl around the tubing at the bottom of the net and no one knew where the puck was.

I really wished it went 7.

But, congrats goes out to the Blackhawks.  49 years is a long wait.  Now, my beloved Kings and the Leafs are the 2 NHL franchises who have waited the longest without a cup.

Yeah that OT goal sort of seemed anti-climatic. Congrats to the Hawks & Philly cause they went much further than anyone was expecting them to.

RiP Probie.

And thanks for those MONUMENTAL bouts with McSorley.  Some good classic stuff there.  I noticed Grimson's name was mentioned in the article.  I think it would have been real classy if Marty showed up....just a thought.

So I heard the NHL has rejected Kovalcash's latest signing.

That puts a smile on my face.

Yeah.  Wake me when we win more than 1 playoff series.  Hopefully they face a bit of regular season adversity this year, cake walking over a weak division last year did us no favors come play off time.
