Well, I got my season tickets today as Christine brought them home...she has them shipped to her work.

Home games against the following EAST coast teams:

Pittsburgh
Philly
Ottawa
Washington
Boston
Buffalo
NY Rangers
Montreal
NY Islanders

I've been watching the NHL Channel reruns of the playoffs during lunch for the past couple of weeks and I can't wait for the season to start.

LET'S GO CAPS!!!

M_K, are you planning on holding onto the tickets this year or selling off most of 'em again?

I was more optimistic last year for some reason at this time.  I hope they can do something with Theodore and Nylander.  Theo is decent but don't think he's a guy that can take us into the playoffs.  Varly showed a lot of promise last season but who knows how he'll be this year?

With my current financial situation, I plan on selling most of them.

I will make nice money on the Red Wings...Flyers...Pens...and hopefully the Canadiens.

after last season i avoided all things hockey...it was rough ...i am used to disappointment (the Bs haven't won the cup while i have been alive) but last year i really thought it was their year. 

i am slowly starting to let myself get into it... but it is going to be hard.

Of all the off season's, it always seems to me that hockey is the shortest of 'em all.  Maybe that's because I am constantly around the sport with my son. :tiredrant:

It is the shortest offseason by far M_K.  There was a stat in a recent Hockey News that stated there were only 111 days between the raising of the cup and the 09-10 season starting.  Versus like 150 days for the NBA, 190 or so for MLB and like 6 months for the NFL.  So, it's not just you.

Then again, I'd like to forget about the finals this year.  FU Crosby.  Buck Teeth
