The Exalted Piledriver - Live in Toronto! Nov 28

Jon and I are trying our damnedest to save this show. Twilight Hammer and Riotor will be playing the show regardless, and we'll know about Piledriver in the next 24 hours or so (please guys, help us out?  )

THIS WILL HAPPEN, DAMNIT!

Though it appears Black Art Entertainment has backed down, I am taking over the management of this event.

The venue has not changed.  The show will be $10 at the door.  Anybody who purchased advance tickets through the promoter is encouraged to contact me ASAP at burningblade666 AT hotmail DOT com.  Doors are at 7pm, show over by 11:30 pm, this hasn't changed.

Twilight Hammer is officially confirmed for this show.

Unconfirmed as of right now are Riotor and Piledriver.  I have good reason to believe Riotor will be confirmed for this gig.  I do not have doubts about Piledriver but I have spoken with Gord about it and am awaiting his final answer.  The Exalted One does have a desire to return and crush Toronto, this is common knowledge.

I should know all the details about this within the next 24 hours, but one thing is certain: Twilight Hammer will be bringing destruction down on the 28th.

Sorry for the confusion out of all of this, but the show will go on.

Piledriver are confirmed, just waiting for Riotor to email us back (they're just gonna talk it over, but the guy we spoke to doesn't see any reason why they'd pull out - nothing has really changed, apart from Jon is a bit more reliable than the original clown), but I am 100% confident that they'll be there. They said they'd get back to us by midnight tonight.

Once that's done, Jon will be making a new thread on the Braveboard about the show, with a new poster that he's designed.. We'll also be handing out flyers at Sacrifice and Fistful of Metal (and possibly Marduk too - the Twilight Hammer bass player is apparently planning to attend)... it was also suggested that we advertise in Eye and Now magazine, so we're gonna look into that. We'll also put some flyers in Sonic Boom and Hits and Misses - which we already did about a week ago, but we'll see if they need any more.

So... yeah.

First of all, I'd like to extend a big thanks to the support everyone has given me through this dilemma. Kind words go a long way, I really appreciate it!

The show is indeed still on, and the original line-up is fully intact. TWILIGHT HAMMER, RIOTOR, AND THE EXALTED PILEDRIVER are ALL 100% confirmed for this event. Sacrifices have been made, but the promise to play pure fucking metal still stands.

A new thread will be made for the event on Sunday where I am at home and able to make a new flyer.

This is the new OFFICIAL poster for The Exalted Piledriver show.  Pile will return Saturday November 28th to Toronto, and the punishing will take place at The Velvet Underground.  After Twilight Hammer burns everything down, and Riotor reduces the rubble to ashes, anyone left will have to face The Exalted One himself!

Doors will open roughly about 7:00 pm, and will cost $10!

Well, sacrifices have been made just for a chance to get this show on the calendar, and although it was hanging by a thread at one point it is here and will be alive.  Thanks for the support and kind words everyone has given me and Jon in our efforts to maintain this event.  But now that we've built it, you all have to come!  So get your asses out to this event!  First band should be on by 8:00 pm (that's Twilight Hammer) and the show ends by 11:30 pm.  It will be a quick, but thorough destruction of this cursed town, so you all better be either piss drunk or pissed off, or both!

What's the story on the new Twilight Hammer?

new album? or new lineup?

New Album - written, not recorded. The drummer situation is hampering the process, plus they're not quite financially able to go into a record studio just yet. Some new songs are being played live to test audience reaction, etc. In my opinion, the new album, tentatively titled Taken By the Others, is far, far better than Orcish Steel.

New Lineup - Eric from Lapidate, Adversarial is filling in on drums for this show. Currently, there is no full time drummer. Twilight Hammer HAVE managed to secure a second guitarist - Joel Militia, formerly of Rammer. The addition of a second guitarist means that the new songs sound more fleshed out and Jon can do a lot of things that he couldn't do before when it was just him.
