Glenn announced this morning the following:
of the 12 bands for next year, only one band will be a returning one...so 11 new bands who have not played PP before
8 of the 11 bands will be making their US debuts at the festival

This is getting interesting.  I am looking forward to the announcement on the Friday night of this years festival!!

That's if most of them can actually enter the US next year...
How many bands from this year's lineup had to cancel at the 11th Hour?  Doh!

It was the US Govt official who denied their Visa's MONTHS in advance....completely different scenario than the one you said. :Up2:

Denied or cancelled... the fact is, it still means that a bunch of bands that were announced last year are not playing as it was advertised...
My point is that before announcing bands, they should make sure they've been cleared to come play in the US, that way they won't end up disappointing a bunch of people like they did this year!  nono

I see your point.  I just wish the issues would have come up before the tickets went on sale for those who were coming just for certain bands.  I have GOld badge tickets, so I purchase mine regardless of the band lineup

We've done it for 4 years now.  It would just feel strange without you Pat.  It's almost like a fraternity now.
