One of my remaining coworkers lent me Monster Magnet's Dope To Infinity CD Friday.
Somehow I was surprised by how enjoyable this was. The only thing I had heard from them prior to this was thier "hit" Spacelord which I thought was cool but not cool enough to get me to check out thier CD's.

The album has a pretty cool vibe and has a couple kick ass songs. Any one here a fan and if so what would your recommendation be??

To be honest I was surprised but I enjoyed it.

I saw them live maybe four years ago.  A buddy of mine is a big fan and they rocked hard!  One of the best shows I've ever seen!  Dave had insane stage presence.  On record they've never impressed me in the same way, though I've tried a number of times. 

What's weird is since then Dave has been clean and sober, cocaine free and is now a good 100 pounds heavier.  I'm thinking he wouldn't be jumping all over the stage anymore.

TO ME, Powertrip is their best cd...but most people would not agree.  I am not into their "trippy" stuff, but Powertrip is freaking rocking from start to finish!!!
