Well a pretty depressing day here at work. They are making people redundant today which is the second time this happens this year. You could probably hear a pin dropin the office today. Thankfully no one on my team is getting the ax this time but it still sucks. Unfortunately I know there will be another round of lay offs in September and some of my team will more than likely be targeted so I am encouraging them to seek other job alternatives without explicitly telling them that they could get the ax. If I did tell them outright and it got back to wrong people I would get terminated as well so I have to be coy about it.

Alain, what a horrible position to be in.  But yet, you still want to have compassion to your fellow co-workers.  Good luck with all of that.  Group Hug

We are going out for beers to beers to commiserate about the events. Some pretty cool people lsot thier jobs today.
