Bleak and I were doing our usual emailing back and forth this morning and he asked me a tough question that took me a bit to answer and I thought I would pose it to the Metal Brethren here to see what the varied responses would be: If you could only listen to 10 bands for the rest of your life, who would you choose?

There is one simple reason these bands have been chosen, unlike a former thread about top 20 albums you can't live without [or something like that].  The reason, these bands have large catalogs and if they are the ONLY bands I could listen to I'd want variety:

FLOTSAM AND JETSAM
JUDAS PRIEST
BLACK SABBATH
AMORPHIS
JEFF BECK
FRANK MARINO AND MAHOGANY RUSH
MICHAEL SCHENKER
OPETH
RUSH
TESTAMENT

Please note, above list threw together in seconds and would be subject to change once I had the time to look over my cataloge of music.  These bands are by no means my favorite bands [except Flots and Priest] but there is a nice mix and variety of music along with their rather large offerings.

     Nice list. And In Flames would have been on mine if not for almost everything after Clayman. Up to that point though I friggin' worshipped them.
