this had lots of neo-classical guitar work on it which, along with Iron Maiden, Manowar and Helloween, basically would go on to give birth to what we call power metal....these bands give you the different elements that most power metal bands possess.

That's fine and dandy.
Sort of how I think Venom sucks but like black metal.

Man, I have not heard this album in ages. Funny thing is, I think I own in on CD.
After I bought the Sefl-titled and Marching out, this was the 3rd album I ever heard from Ingvay.

I'm not sure I'd go
that
far.
He definitely had the chops here, and on the first Alkatrazz album, but the Rising Force album is where he really gave birth to the shredding scene more than anything. I always saw this album as more of a stepping stone for Yngwies career. This was closer to hair metal than anything else, wasn't it?

Hell no!!
that would be Alcatrazz dude not Steeler!
and I am referring to his Neo-Classical guitar work which he expanded on with his first solo album...

I'm certain I have it somewhere on cassette. I'm with Release, here. Hasn't held up well.
