Tuesday, May 12th at Jaxx in Virginia.
Cynic is out supporting DragonForce, this is their ONLY Spring headlining appearance.
I don't have tixs, but I plan to be there. Brave is opening for them.
Anyone going?

I'm probably going to pass on this one. I still haven't warmed up to the new one.

The concert ruled! They were tight as hell
They played all but one tune from the new album and played most of Focus. That was the benefit of seeing them headline as oppossed to opening for Dragonforce whom I did not want to see anyway. Damn they were good! I love Traced in Air. I think that was a very admirable effort of an album after not putting one out in 15 years.
Crimson Idol and I hit the show [that's 2 together in 2 weeks]. I got a concert buddy again
We went to the Austin Grill beforehand and chowed down. Our timing was perfect cuz we didn't really care about the local opening act. Once we got inside, Brave was on the stage finishing up their sound check and they started like 5 or so minutes later. They were really, really good too.. Her voice is amazing and she has sooo much control over it. The violinist was superb [I remember the last time I saw them that I enjoyed him too]. CI said that they seemed heavier than he recalled from before.
Release, It was good to see you again! You made it just in time for Cynic. His timing was perfect too for someone who wasn't even sure he was gonna make it.
Anyone who hasn't seen Cynic and they happen to be hitting your town, do yourself a favor if you like jazzy, death, progressive metal.... hit that show
